About Staff wellness workshop
Wellness, refers to a holistic approach in which mind, body, and spirit are integrated. It is a way of life oriented toward optimal health and well-being in which body, mind, and spirit are integrated in a purposeful manner with a goal of living life more fully. Wellness is more than the absence of disease, a state defined as “health,” and incorporates a concern for optimal functioning.
Over the years, our team had been delivering staff well-being workshops that aims to enhance holistic wellness of workers in social service sectors, with emphasizing on the holistic care for the individual’s physical, psychosocial and spiritual well-being; and integrates traditional Chinese philosophies, traditional Chinese medicine, and western therapeutic approaches.
Evidence had also suggested the IBMS workshop for healthcare professionals are effective in boosting forgiveness, fostering empathic attitudes, reducing negative attitudes towards clients, reducing stress, bolstering sense of mission at work and reducing job burnout.
