Stage props are used to enhance a performance. They range from swords and banners to lockets and fans. This allows actors to adequately play their role and make the whole experience more authentic and immersive. It can also be used to exaggerate gestures or convey ideas. For example, a soldier or general will usually hold weapons and be threatening.
