Description
Helmets and other types of headgear usually signify social status, sex, age and occasion. Scholars and government officials wore black hats with two flaps on the side, soldiers wear simple helmets, emperors wore crowns and generals wore large helmets decorated with pheasant feathers. In the past, real jewelry were used to make headgear, but fake ones are used nowadays.
