Shui xian tea is produced in the state of Jianzhou (Jianban). A thousand years ago, this kind of tea tree was found in Jianye. However, it was cultivated for more than three hundred years before the Qing Emperor Kangxi (1662-1722). Shui Xian is a prevalent variety of Oolong tea among Gong Fu tea drinkers now.
