Description

There are different showrooms on 2/F of the Mei Ho House Museum showcasing the lifestyles of people in the past. A showroom of a store selling rice and cooking oil showed how residents of Mei Ho House had to open businesses to make a living. Showroom of a toilet in Mei Ho House showed how poor their living conditions were. Showroom of a public housing unit in the 1950s and 1970s, in the mean time, demonstrated the improvement in living standards as Hong Kong's economy developed.
