About This Course

Description: Substance use disorder, also known as drug addiction, is a growing global issue, affecting individuals worldwide, including in Hong Kong. Do you know the science behind it?

In this course, you will learn about the neuroscience of substance use disorder, the mechanism and danger of each addictive substance, rehab resources in Hong Kong, management of craving, and how to motivate others to quit addictive substances. This course is made for all students, but highly recommended to students in Pharmacy, Social Work, Nursing, and Medicine.
