Chinese Lunar New Year (農曆新年)

It is also called the Spring Festival(春節), which is most essential festival in China (of course in Hong Kong as well!). It is celebrated from the 1st day until the 15th day of the 1st lunar month. The night before the 1st day is the Chinese New Year's Eve(除夕)and the final day is Lantern Festival (元宵節). The Chinese Lunar New Year could also be called "Guonian"(過年), which mean leaving the old year and welcoming the new year.
