Mei Ho House
In 1953, 50,000 people were left homeless in the Shek Kip Mei area.
• Mei Ho House was constructed as part of a public housing project
• Currently the only remaining resettlement block in Hong Kong.
• Shows the living environment of the Shek Kip Mei area, the origins and development of Hong Kong’s public housing, and lifestyle in a public housing estate from 1950s-1970s.
• It houses historic accounts told by previous residents of the building, complemented with old photos, furniture items, and artefacts.
