This collection will cover all the things about the lifestyle and the culture here at the Yau Ma Tei Wholesale Fruit Market. We think it's the special ways of working and living here made the market so special and different from other markets and this distinctive culture can be viewed as a kind of intangible heritage. In the daytime, the market relies on retail and is full of tourists; During the night, especially from midnight to before the dawn, it's the peak of its main business, wholesale.
We went to the market several times to collect the resources and hope to document it in a multi-media way. So you will enjoy photos, videos and even oral history records of the market.

Yau Ma Tei wholesale fruit market was identified as Grade 2 Historical Buildings by Antiquities and Monuments Office of Hong Kong and it featured both western and traditional Chinese style. In this exhibition, we are going to show you around the Yau Ma Tei fruit market and introduce the amazing old architectures here.
油麻地果欄被香港古物古跡辦事處列爲二級歷史建築。它同時擁有西式和傳統中式建築的特色。在這個展覽中，我們將會為大家展示油麻地果欄及周邊獨具特色的建築。

Different from other exhibitions, this spcial exhibtion is quite flexible and interactive. It's called "Fruit Market in Others' Eyes", we think public engagement is very important, so in this exhibition we are going to show items relating to the opinions and attitudes from different people towards this market.
