About

Central district was first developed under the British rule and colonization in 1841. The historical values are very precious as many of the buildings were constructed a considerably long time ago and classified as Grade 1 Historic Building. The 19th and 20th century architectural values integrated in the crowded city adds another layer of co-existence of different generations. Having these old Hong Kong landmarks in the most developed part of Hong Kong, Central and the heritage it carries represents the collective memories of a rapidly-developing Hong Kong and the spirit of Hong Kong residents. Promoting these old landmarks by digital means and recording them from particular point of view, this site is developed.
