This course helps teachers to design effective rubrics which assess communication criteria alongside content knowledge for a particular discipline. In the activities, the participants will evaluate a range of different rubrics and learn how write rubrics so that the communication components are clear, transparent, and motivating for the students.

The course will cover different types of communication-related assessment rubrics, wording of assessment criteria, how to clarifying communication criteria in rubrics and engage students in assessments.
