Developed by CEDARS-LEAF Student Leadership Development Programme, this online course aims to equip ExCo members of student societies with knowledge and skills to effectively support participants with Special Education Needs, particularly those with physical & sensory disabilities, during Student-led Orientation Activities. Participants will learn about how to utilise available resources to provide reasonable accommodations for students with SEN, and understand the Dos and Don'ts as an event organiser, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in the activities in line with the HKU Equal Opportunity Policy.
It takes about an hour to complete the course. After the completion of the course, you will receive a digital certificate. You can learn at your own pace - take it all at once, or complete it in phases! Enjoy!
