Dear Catherine Palace,

How are you? Saint Petersburg is called “window on the west” by the great Russian poet, Alexander Pushkin. You are such a sacred Palace erecting on my beloved city for hundreds of years. My reign was gone. Thank you so much for caring and witnessing Saint Petersburg’s prosperity and long-lasting beauty in the name of mine. I have always been up in the sky above the city and you, blessing the Russian people in the gentle breeze of Saint Petersburg.

Love,
Catherine II
