Title A name given to the resource Former Central Police Station Subject The topic of the resource Police Station Police Central Description An account of the resource Founded in 1864, it was used as the headquarters of the police before the World War II and was built next to the Victoria Prison. After the War, it became the Police Station in Central. The Police Station, together with the Victoria Prison and the Former Central Magistracy, made up the “Central Police Station Compound”, which indicated the history on development of governance and institutions for law and order in 19th century. It was classified as the historic building in 1995 and closed down in 2004.
